German-language cinema is booming!
German language. Cinema language…?
But hello! Domestic films are more prevalent than ever. Bully Herbig kicked off the autumn season of German-language cinema with his Western comedy about a canoe, and the pace remains high!
Also on the bill are richly contoured highlights such as the remake of Michael Ende’s classic Momo and the comedy Ganzer Halber Bruder, starring comedy legend Christian Maria Herbst. It’s a breath of fresh air that will fill our cinemas with laughter!
And what about Austria? It’s right at the forefront because Austrian films don’t hold back on the laughs!
In October, Pizzera & Jaus will return to the big screen with their spy comedy ‘Neo Nuggets‘, alongside a top-class cast including: Silvia Schneider, Benno Führmann and Gizem Emre. Then, in November, the whole country will be enchanted by the film adaptation of Gerry Seidl‘s cabaret programme ‘Aufputzt is‘.
Austria’s largest – and youngest – cinema community will also be catered for. At the end of October, Pumuckl und das große Missverständnis will make us laugh heartily again with Meister Eder and his little klabautermann!
