  1. 1987

    Founding: WEGRA Werbung and CINELINE as a special agency for cinema advertising in Austria.

  2. 1997

    Founding: Cinecom & Media advertising agency with managing director Michael Kindermann to market the SAT1 advertising window in Austria.

  3. 1998

    Consolidation of the distribution activities of all companies under the umbrella of Cinecom.

  4. 2004

    Digitisation of cinema advertising.

  5. 2011

    The cine.ma cinema survey is initialised. Ongoing survey of 8,000 people/year on cinema attendance & perception in cooperation with GfK.

  6. 2012

    Introduction of booking options according to target groups and with contact-based billing.

  7. 2015

    Acquisition of Cinecom by Weischer.

  8. 2018

    First cinema campaign for the United Nations Development Programme.

  9. 2020

    Brand relaunch and change of name to Weischer.Cinema Austria GmbH.

  10. 2022

    Frankie the Dinosaur” UNDP cinema campaign.

  11. 2022

    World premiere: Introduction of Programmatic Cinema – first campaigns are played out programmatically.
